FAQs

  • Where can I book my picnic? From your living room or backyard to a yacht or public park, we can create your picnic anywhere we have permission to set up! 

  • Do you accept reservations on holidays? We love holidays and want to help you create a memorable one with your friends and family. Please remember to reserve your picnic well in advance. 

  • What is included in my picnic? Rugs/blankets/pillows, low height table(s)/trays, floral, and decor. Add-ons are also available here.   

  • What are your hours of operation?

    • ​Public Locations: We offer picnics beginning at 11 AM to sunset in public locations due to city requirements.  

    • Private Locations: 11 AM to 10 PM

  • What’s the smallest and largest picnic you offer? We currently offer packages by the table. Each table accommodates 6 guests with an event capacity of 24 guests. If your party size does not fit within those parameters, we are also able to accommodate larger parties and custom events. Ask us about your event here

  • How are payments handled? We require a non-refundable 50% deposit. Reservations will not be held unless the deposit is paid. 

  • Do events at the park require a permit or fee? Yes, public parks require permits for your event and some require an additional fee. Read more about public park fees, permits and reservations here

  • How much notice do you need to create a picnic at a public location?

    • ​Public Locations: Please see our locations page for details. 

    • Private Locations: At least 48 hours notice but please note that we do get fully booked and the more notice you can give, the better!

  • Are there any additional costs?

    • ​Permits: Some public locations require an additional fee for permits.

    • Difficult Locations: We ask that your picnic location be within 50 yards of vehicle access and avoid steep slopes or difficult terrain. Locations outside of these parameters may be subject to an additional fee.

    • Credit Card: Payments made with a credit card are subject to a 3% surcharge. 

    • Add Ons: We offer a variety of bells and whistles to complete your picnic experience. View them here. 

  • What’s your cancellation policy? We don't offer refunds for any event. You may reschedule your event if a cancellation is made more than 72 hours from your event and rescheduled within a 3 month window. 

  • What happens if the weather is bad? You may reschedule your picnic within a 3 month window.

  • Does The Picnic Peacock stay during our picnic? We don't stay onsite but a member of our team will be nearby. Simply text or call if you wish to leave before your reservation ends. You are responsible for all items until a member of our team returns. 

  • Can we leave when we want? If you would like to leave before your reservation ends, please provide us with a 30 minute notice via phone call or text. You are responsible for all items until a member of our team returns. 

  • Do you offer discounts? Host a picnic and refer a friend to host their own picnic to get 10% off your next event. Multiple discounts can not be applied to the same event. 

  • Do you offer gift voucher? Yes, gift vouchers are available. Please inquire about a voucher here
